Grandparents birth and marriage certificates

I am looking for my grandparents birth certificates and their marriage certificates.

I have tried to contact the municiply a few times via email and I have written. I have also tried to search for them but I can not find their information. If anyone could help. I would really appreciate it. I am trying to obtain them to apply for my citizenship but also because I am just so interested in my family history.

They were both born and got married in Foggia Puglia.

Grandfather - Giuseppe Contestabile 24th December 1922

Grandmother - Raffaela Contestabile ( previously Foglio) 8th March 1928

Married in Foggia 10th November 1951

They moved to the UK in 1951/1952

I believe my grandfather was also in the army during WW2

Giuseppe's parents (my great grandparents were Raffaele and Rachele Contestabile)

Raffaela's parents ( my great grandparents were Pasquale and Michela Foglio)

With your requests to the comune di Foggia did you remember to attach a copy of your identity document?
Some comuni don’t take into consideration a request if you don’t.

However, to add to your family history search, here is a POSSIBLE birth act for your great grandfather (father of Giuseppe)
