Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue deciphering the occupation for Paolino on the 1849 and 1857 births. 1856 marriage looks like the same occupation for Paolino and his father Francesco. Looks to be either sailor/seaman or even a mason.

I don’t agree with the occupation being that of a master seaman. For one thing, Marineo is inland and does not have direct access to the sea. I think, in the first record, the occupation is clearly murario. I think he was a master mason/builder. The title maestro was used with this occupation as well. Skilled in the craft of building with stone or brick.
