Hello! I would be so happy if someone could tell me what was written about the marriage. Especially the part of Ninfa & Salvatore's illegitimate child, Antonino.
Thank you in advance,
Lisa

Re: Salvatore Danna and Ninfa Spalla's Marriage doc
Marriage No 22 – Salvatore D’Anna and Ninfa Spalla
Trabia: 1 March 1896
Before the official appeared:
Groom: Salvatore D’Anna, 40 yo, gardener, born and residing in Trabia, son of the deceased Antonino (D’Anna), and of Antonia Di Matteo, a resident of Trabia.
Bride: Ninfa Spalla, 20 yo, casalinga (woman who undertook domestic duties/some might say housewife), born and residing in Trabia, daughter of Giuseppe, a resident of Trabia, and of the deceased Antonia Rinella.
Witnesses to the proceedings were: Antonio Sunseri, 25 yo, trafficante (dealer /merchant) and Giovanni Bonfanti, 24 yo, usciere (usher/doorkeeper), both from the town.
There are lots of words at the bottom but this is basically what it is saying:
The marriage banns were posted, on 26 January and 2 February, current year.
The father of the bride (Spalla) had given his consent to the marriage.
Through the marriage the couple were legitimising a child from their natural union, born to them on 6 December 1894, Antonino d’Anna.
At the base of the record are the signatures of the groom, bride, Official and two witnesses.

Re: Salvatore Danna and Ninfa Spalla's Marriage doc
I’ve located the Marriage Allegati pertaining to Salvatore D’Anna and Ninfa Spalla’s marriage. They begin here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... Id=1947613 Image 1693 of 3,139
The next image is a copy of the Marriage Pubblication.
Image 1695-1696 is the 1855 Birth Record (No 81) of Salvatore D’Anna
Image 1697 is the 1884 Birth Record (No 184) of Ninfa Spalla
Image 1698 is the 1891 Death Record (Act No 114) of Antonia Rinella
Image 1699 is a copy of Antonino D’Anna’s 1894 birth record which you already have
You might want to repost them separately and have them translated. You could locate the original 1884 Birth record pertaining to Ninfa Spalla and also the 1891 Death Record pertaining to Antonia Rinella, which should take you back yet another generation. If you need help locating them ask me and I’ll help.

Re: Salvatore Danna and Ninfa Spalla's Marriage doc
Lisa, I've just realised I made a typo: Image 1697 should read the 1875 Birth Record (No 184) of Ninfa Spalla, not 1884. I obviously got on the wrong keys didn't notice. I was in a rush.
