Finding long lost 2nd great grandparents

Post by AXD7107 »

I'm in search of my 2nd great grandparents their last name is Dessano, Guy and Manay, both from Italy. I know they came to the United States from italy in the late 1880's they had a son in 1901 and he was a US Citizen, he was born in New York. Then they moved to Bridgeport Connecticut and had 3 more children. But there seems to be no census record for them before 1930 and after 1940 they just disappear. No death records, nothing I know they had pasted away before I was born, but by this time so has anyone that knew them and that I've known that had this knowledge. On the 1930's census it says Guy was natralized, but not when or where. And I can't seem to find any record of it. I've searched Passenger ship records and no luck with the surname or their given names. Please help I'm lost as to where to go from here.

Thank you

I think this is an earlier Rosa born in Manhattan who died. They were living on 184th in the 1900 census. I also was going to suggest that Guy's Italian name was Gaetano, as my mother's brother was a Gaetano and he was sometimes called Guy.
