Hi
A "distant" cousin said her great-grandfather came from a town called Capro Fica and it was in the Abruzzo area. I cannot find anything that could be this town.
Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Garomono
Does anyone know where the surname Garomono comes from in Italy? I'm trying to help a friend and can't even find anything like it on Ellis Island but Garomone.
Thanks

Brujaojos did a wonderful job on my genealogy research
To the people of this Forum,
I just wanted to tell you that if you are looking for a great professional genealogist, I highly recommend Trish (brujaojos) from this Forum.
I took a chance and hired Trish. Her rates were very reasonable. And I just received the research she did for me in the mail ...

Re: Looking for help
Actually, I spoke with my dad tonight and got some more information from him. He is a bit hesitant to speak about our ancestry. I think he is afraid we might find out something that will taint my grandparents memory. I did find out that my grandfather came over many times, but I did find one entry ...
