Hi

A "distant" cousin said her great-grandfather came from a town called Capro Fica and it was in the Abruzzo area. I cannot find anything that could be this town.

Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Does anyone know where the surname Garomono comes from in Italy? I'm trying to help a friend and can't even find anything like it on Ellis Island but Garomone.

The question-marks are the words I cannot make out. The document is so badly damaged ...
