Thanks to everyones help I continue to make headway. I have not come across any surnames of "Busaten" which would be Franks mothers maiden name. This is whats listed on his death certificate. However I am of the feeling that with thick accents pronunciations can be misunderstood. If I follow that ...

Thanks for the info. I was kind of thinking that to, with so many people in the house and I don't believe he spoke english so he might have been misunderstood or didnt care. As far as I know he did not have a middle name. It's actually spelled Pusateri, Two cousins married into the family ...

when it lists immigration 1883 naturalization 1893. Would that be the year he arrived. We had him arriving in 1886. Do you think he would "fudge" a little to become a citizen sooner? Also would you know on ship manifests Do they always list the adults followed by the minors accompanying him ...
