Re: Antenati website question
Thanks for your reply, the server has been going down quite a bit lately but you reload the page and eventually comes back up. My issue is that I can look at a document fine and then go to the next one and nothing opens up, only the immagine number for that document comes up. I can go to a specific ...

Antenati website question
Hi to everyone, would anyone know why a lot of documents don't open on the Antenati website? I can look at a document but when I go to the next one only the immagine number shows on the screen and not the document. Is this because they are not available yet or is it a website problem?
Thanks,
Frank
Thanks,

Thanks Erudita74, I was hoping perhaps the diocese would have had a copy.

Diocesan Archives Question
Hello to all, would anyone know which diocese the Santa Maria Maggiore church in Casacalenda, provincial di Campobasso, Molise would have belonged to in the mid 1600's?
I am wondering whether the Diocesan Archives would contain a copy of the church records.
Thank you.

Re: Origins of Di Genova
Hello to all,
Wondering if anyone has had any success obtaining information from the municipality of Casacalenda? I have requested information with no luck. Could the request be sent to Campobasso?
Thanks

Re: Origins of Di Genova
Hi mls, all my research has been in Casacalenda. Have you come across any connections to the Molise region? My family were in Casacalenda in early 1600's but don't know where they came from before that. Would love to know that.

Re: Origins of Di Genova
Hi mls, my Di Genova lineage is from the town of Casacalenda in Molise. I've had much help on this forum over a number of years and have been able to go back into the mid 1600's.

Re: Need help with latin records
Thank you very much Luca, this record clarifies the cognome di Francesca. In a previous latin record you translated for the birth of Domenico Di Genua it listed the mother as Francesca di Nuzzo?Pachetta and the father as Honofrius di Genua. We could not figure out which was the surname Di Nuzzo or P...

Re: Need help with latin records
Thank you Luca. Still trying to piece together church records for my family.
I uploaded a 1731 Stato delle Anime record for my 5th Ggrandfather, can you tell me what you read from the record. It's the Domenico Di Genua record in the middle.
