Re: Help with handwriting, please
Yes, the name is spelled Guglielmo. The cousin they are going to see is Francesco Giustiniani. The name is found in Palermo. The female's name is Salatrice Mistretta. That surname is common in Palermo.

Unknown, abbreviated name
I'm into some records from the 1600s and I started running across these abbreviations which should be a name. They look like masculine and feminine forms of the same name. I'm seeing them often so it's a common given name.

His descendants are Pianalto but his father Giovanni's surname is Brunialti (underlined) with Pianalto written above it in a different color. On the 1731 marriage record of his father Giovanni, his surname i...

This is the marriage record for Antonio Zulpo and Maria [unknown]. The year is 1651. I don't understand the abbreviation for his father's name, and I don't know what Maria's father's name is. I'm very familiar with the first and last names used in the area (Recoaro Terme, Vicenza) so if someone can ...

Need help with Vincenzo's "nativo di" place.
It starts with an "R", and I've searched for various spellings that look like it could be but I'm not finding anything. It looks like it contains an à (accent a). https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/image-details?page=1&place=7061178&lifeEvent=102860&endDate=1864&st...
