Re: Rinella/Quattrocchi
Thank you Biff. I actually have that, but it doesn't list Tony Rinella's parents.

Rinella/Quattrocchi
I'm trying to find out information on my grandfather, Antonio (Anthony, Tony) Rinella. I'm believing his mother's maiden name was Quattrocchi. Whether his parents came to America or not, I don't know. Tony married Catherine Scalia. I know Tony and Catherine lived in Akron on Bowery Street. I have ...

Very interesting as I live in Cuyahoga Falls. And the dry cleaners was owned by a Joe Rinella?? I believe we are cousins. You probably have relatives named Scalia and Bonfiglio too.

Re: Trying to find Info on ggrandpa SABATINI
I know this post is older, but I just received, from these wonderful people, some copies of naturalization papers. One of the names is Salvatore Algieri Rinella. I have yet to figure the relation, but my mother was a witness and her maiden name was Rinella. It almost looks like my grandfather's ...

Also, where did you find a copy of the draft card? That would be interesting to add to my books.
Thanks.

Rinella-Scalia
Some new info regarding my grandfather, Tony Rinella. I still have not found anything on his parents, but I do know they were from Corleone. I don't think they ever came over to America though. How can I obtain information regarding his parents?
Thanks all!

Re: 1900 Census Akron Ohio-Scalia or Rinella
Yes I think there is. I recognize a lot of these names. My Aunt Mary was a Scalia and she was from New Jersey. And yes, when she married my uncle, they had to get special permission because they were cousins. My uncle was Joseph Rinella. My Grandmother's maiden name was Scalia. I believe one of her ...

Re: Bonfiglio
He died in Akron, Ohio. I believe he was born in New York or came from Sicily. He married Rose Rinella. As you probably know, I've been researching the Rinella's, my mother and her background, and she marred Anthony Bonfiglio sometime around 1933. they had 3 sons, Theodore, Anthony and John, before ...

Re: 1900 Census Akron Ohio-Scalia or Rinella
Thanks for all the research. I'll go through all this and try to figure it out. There's definitely a relation somewhere.
Maybe Chiara and Anthony weren't married in Canada. I assumed they were since their first 2 children were born there. The third was born in Akron, Ohio. Maybe they were married ...

Re: 1900 Census Akron Ohio-Scalia or Rinella
Wondered if anyone was able to come up with any information on Anthony Rinella in Canada and the marriage of Catherine or Chiara Scalia to him in Toronto. Also any birth information on Rose or Joseph Rinella around 1915 to 1917 there?
Thanks all!

Re: 1900 Census Akron Ohio-Scalia or Rinella
That would be wonderful. I'm not sure if that's where they were at that time, but I do remember them saying that they had been there a long time. We visited relatives named Caruso back then also at that address. There was a Frank Rinella that had a deli downtown. I remember walking to it. I'm not ...
