Re: census info for Giovanni Tavonne and Anna Maria Maucieri
Hi, I have some Tavone info, I just need to dig it out. I will get back to you. Giovanni married into our family to Anna Maria Maucieri and it was in Italy so I will see what I can find in the records I have. But you might be interested in checking out this new website www.echomolise.org It has a fo...

Re: MARTINELLI, Sulmona, Abruzzo, L'Aquila
Hi again, This is a coincidence. I have found many Maucieri's actually listed as going to 810 Webster Ave. Pittsburgh, I also discovered that it doesn't exsist anymore, it is in the space where the arena is now. I will take the info you have given me and see if I can match it up to anything I have. ...

Re: MARTINELLI, Sulmona, Abruzzo, L'Aquila
Hello, I just found your posting and I am hoping you are still around, I have a Rosa Martinelli married to Matteo Maucieri on our family tree, she was born in 1839 to Giovanni Martinelli and Carmela Silvestri. I also have many relatives who on ships manifests say they went to 810 Webster Ave. Pitts....

Re: A few Surnames I can't find meanings for
Peter, where did you find the surname dictionary? Is it a website or a text?
I would love to look up a few names myself.
(maucieri, dimarzo, ciampanelli, cecere)

Re: Ancestors from Casacalenda : Guastaferri & Armanno
Wow Carmela and Romeo this is some story. I love reading about this kind of connection. I had to laugh when I read the "campowashan" as I have heard that term many times with my family from Bonefro. I understand the sopranomes sometimes better than the real last names. Good luck to both of...

Re: Research - Need Advice
Have a wonderful trip, I was lucky enough to visit my parents hometown of Bonefro with them while my grandparents were alive here in Canada. I have since returned numerous times and I am very close to some of the distant relatives there. It is an awesome experience to go back and be connected.

Archivo dello stato, how to pay?
