She should make sure to know about the pre-1912 naturalization gotcha, and the pre-1948 women citizenship issues, as well as the general naturalization before birth of child issues that could prevent her from qualifying.

My wife is getting her citizenship, she is putting together the docs first. Can someone tell me where to get the list of documents the she needs to start her process? I had the list somewhere but i lost.

She is getting her citizenship by jure sanguinis, she has her great grandparents birth ...

Anyone know if the consulate keep the certified copies or they give back to you in the same day of the appt?

If NARA does have records, they will certify them as copies of the official record and I believe they are acceptable to the consulate. Keep in mind that you must have the "Oath of Allegiance" page, fully executed with the date and certificate number. Since NARA does not have a copy ...
