Thank you so much! Is there any free databases that might have it? Like Ancestry.com. I couldn't find it at first glance, but I can try again in a different area.

Re: looking for Rebecchini
Hi Valarie,
thank you so much for your help. The only thing I know and it is just through the correspondence I have had with you guys is that Raniero was a native of Ancona. Which according to Laura is in the Marche region of Italy on the Adriatic sea. Not sure if that is helpful.

Is the area where Raniero is from, anywhere near the Vatican? Could his father still play there without living there? I could look at a map ... but since you are there......I thougth I would ask.

Re: looking for Rebecchini
I am really starting to believe that Raniero is Minia's brother. Raniero died in 1878 and her son Joseph was born in 1880. He probably was named after his father joseph and her deceased brother.

Re: looking for Rebecchini
Laura,
I just read your clue...... I feel really silly, but not being aware of all of the places in Italy and what the places mean I'm not getting the clue right away. Can you help me? Does my story match up to the clue of his father playing the organ in St. Peter's square? Thanks for the info ...
