The surname Gibello is mostly found in Piemonte, around Biella, former Vercelli province. But without others clues it is difficult to pinpoint the exact place.

Their marriage does not appear in this database for the town of Varese that you can find on Ancestry
Varese, Lombardia, Italy, Indexed Marriage Records, 1876-1937
But back then Capolago, now part of the Comune of Varese, was a different Comune.

Hi Is the correct surname Campagna or Campana? Both exist in Italy And are you sure the region was Piemonte? Following your link the name Piemonte is listed under "Vapor". Hi The problem is, as has been already said, that in 18th century the records were kept by parishes. So you need to know the parish in order to begin a search with some hope of finding the rright record. And are you sure that when they said "Como" or "Milan" they meant they were actually born in the...

Can someone help me identify this occupation? Northern Lombardy 1850-55. Felice Bernasconi was receiving a salary from his parish for his work as "zeppista?" seppista ? The context hints that he was something like a sexton, paid when there were festivities. Or maybe something to do with church music...
