But, their marriage license data combined with the Social Security application data for Ann and that they are buried ...

Have you not found the Civil Record for this marriage? Is that year 1871? 1821?

They are typically at the end of the same reel that has the manifest. Sometimes they are indexed more accurately and you come across that listing first. Then you can use the Page/Line reference to go backwards into the manifest to find the main listing.
