I have also attached it as a .jpg for you but the above link might be better.

Help with Rosa Monforte April 1891 birth record in nati

This birth record (image 815) of Messina Nati 1890 - 1892 is something I would like translated, although no hurry as I don't need it anytime soon. Any help appreciated at all.

My great-grandmother Agata Grasso had a baby with Antonio Monforte. I can tell that she was tired after the birth from the ...

Re: Looking for info on surname Bellezza in Roccalumera

I have now discovered via Santi's birth record that Agata Grasso, my great-grandmother, had had another child Rosa Monforte in April 1891 (with Antonino Monforte, the father of Maria Aurelio Monforte with mother Maria Filomena).

Re: Anyone know where 1896 matrimoni, allegati are for Roccalumera

The allegati have a huge amount of information about the spouses, including birth, etc.. In my case, there is a margin mention of the marriage on the birth record of the male. So I'm looking for a record that corresponds to the date of Oct 17, 1896 in whatever marriage records I can find for ...

Anyone know where 1896 matrimoni, allegati are for Roccalumera

I am searching the 1884 - 1910 matrimoni, allegati records for Roccalumera, San Fillipo, Santa Lucia, etc.. but I find that most of the records are from either 1884 or 1897. I need the year 1896. Just wondering if anyone has marriage records for 1896 near or in Roccalumera. I guess Messina is also a ...

Re: Translation sought for foundling record

I have you mentioned in the record in FamilyTreeNow where I published her biography, at least as much as I know.

Re: Translation sought for foundling record

Thank you! So the baby was born a few hours before being left on the wheel. I'm trying, mostly in vain, to find the origins of my great-aunt Agata (Grasso) Bellezzi who we believe was born on Feb 5, 1875. So this baby was put on the wheel on March 4 , 1875, and given the name Agata Liccio. My great ...

Re: Looking for info on surname Bellezza in Roccalumera

Update:
It is likely that Agata adopted Paolo as a sub for Domenica who she had been carrying, and gave up for adoption when Enrico left for the war. So when Enrico came back, perhaps at first, he thought Paolo was his. There are details to research: 1) What date did Enrico leave for the war? 2) The ...

Re: Looking for info on surname Bellezza in Roccalumera

Hi Marty,
I finally now know who Domenica Ballezza Ferrantello was. I found a death record which helps to explain, then I looked further on FamilySearch.

She is the mother of my Uncle Vito, who I used to see when I was living in Pennsylvania. My father would meet him and I would go with him. Or he ...
