Re: Arce, Frosinone/Caserta.Maternal last name on birth record.
Thank you very much. Makes sense. I could also see Quietone which maybe was phonetic form for, as you say, Quintoni, maybe not a local name and unfamiliar to the person recording it? Most of the names in the index are Quattrini, common there for years, but one entry was corrected maybe because it, t...

Arce, Frosinone/Caserta.Maternal last name on birth record.
Thank you very much.
From antenati italiani, Arce, Caserta.
In the 1865 birth record and index for
Francesco Meglio, in Arce, what is the maternal last name? Parents' surnames seem new to that town.
I am helping a cousin.

Re: Offering Russian/Ukrainian/Polish Genealogy assistance
I'd be grateful for translations of Polish birth records of my greatgrandmother, Pelagia Maria Jagniatkowska, 1867 in Modliborek, KP; her brother Leon's death in 1851; Sister Pelagia Anastazja birth. All children of Wawrzyniec and Joanna (Kzreciejewska) Jagniatkowski.
Thank you so much!

Yes, thanks ! My ancestors were Casertan macaroni makers , millers, and pizza makers, so I included in my tree several illustrations of open air macaroni making and munching like those you shared.

Photo ID. Golden Anniversary.
Trying to ID subjects . Photo was owned by centenarian female cousin (passed 4 years ago) who grew up in Providence, worked in NJ, retired in Florida. Could photo be of immigrants -- solemn expressions ,painted backdrop, plant don't seem like 50's in USA ?
Research so far unsuccessful.
Thank you.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-99LR-T8WV?cat=1209090 Ages of spouses' deceased fathers are in this pubblicazione #16. Is that age at death ? And is that for purpose of ID? I had hoped for grandparents' names to help pinpoint Luigi Carotenuto's pre-1865 birth record. Not able to fin...
