Re: Aurosia / Eurosia Periotto, Suor Pia

I have tried several ways in order to get information about my aunt. I can't seem to find either the right people to talk to or the right way. Not sure.

Aurosia / Eurosia Periotto, Suor Pia

My half-aunt; Aurosia Periotto (I do not know how she spelled her name; I've seen different spellings) was a nun and served in Guarda Veneta, Rovigo and Cervia, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. She went by Suor Pia. I have made different attempts to discover more information from the Church, but have ...

Re: Francesco Periotto

Sorry, I just saw your response. For some reason, I do not get notified by Italian Genealogy.com. They lived in Guarda Veneta, Rovigo. But if Francesco moved to Guarda Veneta, that I do not know.

Francesco Periotto

Francesco Periotto, my great-great-great grandfather died before 1872 and was most likely born in the late 1700's. We have requested information from Italy on family members, but always came back empty. I don't recall why, since the requests were sent out by my mother and sister. My great-great ...

Re: Domenico, Son of Francesco Periotto

I agree. Domenico was married in 1833 as far as we know. Maybe this family member has his dates mixed up.

Domenico, Son of Francesco Periotto

I was told by a possible distant relative that my great-great-grandfather was born Domenico Romano Periotto in Pollesela, Rovigo, Italy in 1833. The only information that I have discovered was that his name is Domenico, that he was the son of Francesco. He was married to Anna Boschetto in Guarda ...

Re: List of Italian soldiers killed in WW II

Is it possible to request additional information from the Ministry of Defense to verify that this is our uncle and maybe obtain additional information?

Re: Catholic: Nuns

Thank you Italysearcher. We are not certain where she was born. We know where she died, but all these dates are more recent and do not show on FamilySearch.org.
