Yes, I would log in at 2:50 pm every day to make sure I was on the site. Then at 2:59 pm, I would start refreshing the web browser to see if i could capture one of the appointments. The day I got my appointment, I had access to both appointments and choose the one later in the morning ...

Keep trying to get an appointment for the SF consulate and check for cancellations. Before you know it, you will have an appointment.

The SF Consulate schedules 2 appointments per day during business days except national holidays. The appointments are only scheduled in the morning hours between 9 am - 12:30 pm.

I just went through this process in NY to get my fathers certitifed birth certificate. I had to go to court and it took 9 months from start to end.
