"Guasto" meaning?
Ciao! I came across an old Geocities website that lists all the families that lived in Castelpetroso. For my family name (Farro), it says the following:
THE FARRO´S
of
CASTELPETROSO
All the Farro’s lived in “Guasto”
I looked up the meaning of "guasto" and see definitions like "broken down ...

Re: Help deciphering birth record list please!
Thanks for responding Angela! So does that mean that those "Farros" would not be siblings unless they are twins?
Meanwhile, with further research, I think my great grandfather's name was "Giuseppe Farro" who would have been born around 1865 to 1875. Back to the drawing board tomorrow !

On the attached screenshot, "Enrico" Farro is listed as #35, followed by #36 Giovanni Antonio, and #37 Apollonia. Does that mean that they are all siblings since ...

Ciao! I am searching to find my grandfather's birth certificate, and now have his alien registraiton form form the National Archives here in the USA. It states that he was from "Castelpetroso, Campobass" (which I take to mean "Campobasso"). I have been searching "Castelpetrosa" records on this ...
