Re: Leila

Leila is mostly an Arabic name, in Italy is not very common, it started to be used about in the 1960s-1970s among Italian people (before it was an extremely rare name), then its use declined during the 1990s; it is used also among immigrants of North African/Middle Eastern heritage.

Re: Help with the mother's name

Children are Santa Maida and Nicola Maida.
The mother's name isn't listed, because both children were born in a relationship between the father Domenico Maida and an unmarried woman not relative with him.

Re: Photo Identification

The uniforms aren't from the GIL, because the hat is different, the hat of the male members of the GIL is a black fez with an eagle decoration.
The GIL uniforms have also black jackets and shorts, too.
I think, because of the number, that those uniforms were boarding school uniforms.

Re: Help with name on Baptismal for a Sparacio

The other child, Nicola, was baptized at home by midwife because he was in danger of death, and passed away.
He was the twin of Gaetano Maria Ignazio, because the parents were the same.
I think they were baptized at home because it was a difficult birth and so Nicola didn't survive.

Both records were registered on April 22, 1912, even the sisters were born years before.

The first record states that Anna Enrichetta Cardoni, born ...
