Thank you! So it looks like either the Roccamatisi family originated from another town, or they changed their surname/used a pseudonym for records.

My great-great-grandfather was Giuseppe Carrozza, born in Monreale in 1844. I know that Sicily became part of Italy in 1860-1861, so I was hoping that there would be a military record for him, but I'm not sure if conscription started until 1870.
