Pepitone Family History

Searching for more information on the Pepitone Family. My Great Grandfather Raymond Pepitone ( or Raimondo Pipitone) born April 1846 His father was A Pepitone and mother M Fourgaty. Raymond Married Flora Evelina Barrios. He had 10 Children of which one was my Grandfather Percy James Pepitone. The only information I have that he existed is 10 children, his Marriage certificate and the 1900 census.

I would like to find information about his parents and siblings as well as a record of his death and his birth in Italy.

Can you give us a litle more info so we can better direct your search. Did Raimondo immigrate to the US? Approx. when? Where did he first settle?
Does the census you have give any clues as to his place of birth or year of immigration.

obviously, because Raymond was born in Italy, it is probable that also the maiden name of Raymond 's mother is misspelled, because sound no italian..

My great grandfather was Raymond Pepitone (Raimondo or Remondo Pipitone)born April 1846 in Italy He came to the United States in 1864 and was naturalized September 24, 1872. He married Flor Evelina Barros Aug 27,1875 she was born September 1859 They lived in Louisana
Raymonds parents were A Pepitone and M Fourgaty. I believe that they were both born in Italy. Actually I think that they were all from Sicily.

I am the grandson or James Percy

I would like to find out more information about Raymond's parents and siblings, as well as Raymond's birth (Italy) and death (USA) certificates and location of burial.

How do I go about obtaining an Italian Birth certificate when I dont know exactly where he was born, nor do I have an exact date of birth.

Also I am not sure of the port where Raymond entered the US

Through information taken from the 1900 census and Evelina's Marriage license dated June 7, 1911, Raymond's death occured between 1900 and 1911
Evelina married William T Burke in 1911 and was listed as widow of Raymond Pepitone

Also how would I find a list of Italian equavaliant names like Raymond - Raimondo, Francisco - Frank
