Italian Railroad
Hello! I found out that my Great Grandfather, prior to leaving Sicily in 1905, worked for the Italian Railroad. Evidently, the family moved along with the progress/work as I found that one of his daughters was born across the Italian border in Switzerland and one was born on the island of Sardinia. Does anyone have any idea if his employment records with the Railroad would be in existence and if it would be at all possible to get them? It's a long shot, I know, but I thought it would be interesting and worth a try! Thank you!

Re: Italian Railroad
Well, I tried the website for the "Ferrovie Dello Stato" and since I do not speak Italian, I could not find an address or even an email where I could send a letter of inquiry. If you have a chance, could you take a look and see what you come up with? I would be eternally grateful! thank you!
