I'm sure Pennsylvania must rank pretty high up there, too. The town I'm from is 30% Italian. My old neighbor (I think she was Polish) used to say you couldn't get a job there unless you were Italian.
I enjoyed the video and article very much....most of my Italian heritage is from the states of MI and CA, with few scattered around in NY & NJ....I'm curious what rank CA & NY had. Think I'll go look it up just for fun.
I've made several cousin connections using ancestry.com. With many of them we will simply exchange an email here and there on ancestry.com and compare some notes. I find that most people go to ancestry.com mainly to have a DNA test, an aren't that interested in building a family tree, making connect...
