Trying to find out more information regarding my great-great-grandfather on my grand-mothers side of the family. Here is some of the information that I have regarding Cologerco....

I am trying to find out any information I can regarding his family in Patti, Sicily such as his siblings and who his parents were.

I believe he may have a brother Francesco Franchina because he appears on the 1910 Census below Calogero and his family although by the ages listed on the census report they were 7 years apart.

Calogerco died at a very young age in Northampton County, PA in what we believe was a slate mining accident but so far we have not been able to pin-point his exact cause of death. His wife Maria (Ravipinto) then married a man named Carmello Pretopapa and have had lots of success searching that branch of the family tree.

I really would like to know more about Calogero Franchina and the rest of his linage there in Patti and if you have any information that you believe may help in my search I would appreciate you getting back to me.

Wanted to repost this message to see if I can get any bites on my research. Trying to find out Cologero Franchina's parents from Patti, Sicily. Immigrated to the US in 1906 and may have several brothers and or sisters that I would love to identify.
The Franchina line in my family tree has reached an end and would like to see if there are others out there that share the same family history.
