The problem is with Internet Explorer 8.

Solutions
Switch to Internet Explorer 9 : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/inte ... -languages
Switch to Firefox : http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/
Switch to Chrome : http://www.google.com/chrome

Edmondo, I showed your suggestions to my much smarter son with computers than I am. He used the Chrome one as you mentioned, and it is so fast on this site now I barely have time to think! I just wonder with Suanj`s slow problem as well if she has the same problem I have had over the last week or so and needs to change to Chrome or one of your other suggestions. Anyhow thanks Edmondo it could not be better. John

I don't know why Internet Explorer 8 has problems with ItalianGenealogy.com while most other sites are running without a problem but I do know that all other browsers, even older versions of Internet Explorer don't have this problem.

I prefer Firefox but most important is always to use the latest version of your favourite browser.

I will lock this topic and change it to a global announcement so other members with the same problem will know how to fix this problem too.
Related questions can be posted in the Off Topic forum.
