Search for arriving vessel
My mother Chiara, her mother and father and four other siblings came to America in 1905 from Naples aboard the vessel Montevideo. They were all listed on the ship manifest. How do I find the ship and it's manefest? Family name was Cerbone (Carbone)

Re: Search for arriving vessel
Do you know where in the US they landed? I found my great-grandparents' manifest page through a search on the Ellis Island Foundation's website. It took a few different name/date searches. They based the name search on the hand-written script in the ship's log, so sometimes they misspell names. For example, an "o" might become an "a."
