Enrico Battistoni & son Giovanni Battista Battistoni

Post by lbcushman »

Hi all,

I'm forever trying to straighten out the many Giovanni Battista Battistoni's that I have in my tree - all from the Lake Garda area - Castelletto, Magugnano, Marniga, & San Zeno di Montagna are specific locations that I've come across.

This particular Giovanni Battistoni is the son of Enrico Battistoni & Cecilia Pasini. He married Angela Murari in Blackstone, Worcester, Massachusetts, on 25 April 1923.

I can't find any further information on him in the US after this date. Maybe he went back to Italy?

Another dead end for me. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Lisa

Thanks so much for your response. The John Battistoni you reference is yet another John/Giovanni in my tree, son of Bortolo Battistoni of Brenzone, Italy. Husband of Angelina Bertuzzi.

I'm not sure if it's correct, but the birth date I have for the Giovanni Battista Battistoni I originally posted about is 8 Jun 1875.

Thanks again!
