I am looking for any realitives for personal reason only. To know my family, and, or add to my family tree. I am not possitive, but I believe part of my family came from L'Aquila Abruzzi, surname D'Andrea. I am not positive if they moved there from another part of Italy though. Ialso have posible realitives from ROME.
My father;
RONALD C D'ANDREA
His parents FELICE & ADELINE D'ANDREA- ADELINES maiden name PALITO , or variation of spelling.
Posible parents of FELICE D'ANDREA;
SABATINO & FILOMENA D'ANDREA- FILOMENAS maiden name unknown.
Also I am not possitive if SABATINO & FILOMENA are my realitives I was only told this, but I have no proff.
Felice came to the US to OHIO, where he married & he & Adeline had children, SAM,JOHN,TERESA, & RONALD D'ANDREA.
Felice & Adeline later seperated.
Felice went to FLORIDA where he passed away.
Adeline went to Southern CALIFORNIA where she passed away.
Felice & Adeline are my grandparents.
I would love to add to my family tree, and, or find any living realitives.
Thank you,
LISA

A manifest does exist for a Sabatino D'Andrea from the Foggia area (there's more too -with same name)... He travels with his 16 year old son Giovanni. His wife in Italy would be a Filomena.

Thank you suanj, this forum is very lucky to have you here!but I believe part of my family came from L'Aquila Abruzzi, surname D'Andrea. I am not positive if they moved there from another part of Italy though.
What was interesting about the manifest was the Sabatino's wife's name... also Filomena as the person mentioned...
suanj, ed un caro grande abbraccia a te..inoltre spero che il vostro inverno è migliore di il nostro

Re: l'aquila abruzzi family search
Thank you for all the help;
I do not have much info as I have not seen my father since I was three years old, hence the reason I know little of this side of my family, and and trying to learn.
My father Ronald D'Andrea was born in Ohio in 1936 the youngest of four children born to Felice & Adeline D'Andrea. So these dates seem to coinside w/ info I have.
I would like to find my father, or more so my aunt Teresa. They would know more info to pass down to me.
The other sibblings have passed away my uncles Sam in California passed away around "84/"85, and my uncle John passed away around 2000 in Pensalvania.
