Birth record side of the document is dated Oct 8, 1859. The handwriting is difficult to decipher, but I think he was born ieri (yesterday) on the 7th. He was the son of Michele Sarnese, age 40, a peasant/farmer in Riccia and Maria Sassani, age 37.
