Marriage Document translation please

I believe I have found the marriage document of my great great great grandparents here. Bartolo Cannistra and Giuseppa Ritano (sp?).

Can someone please translate the jist of it for me? Cannot make out parents names and occupations at all except that looks like Bartolo's father was named Mario.

Left column-solemn promise to celebrate matrimony=dated Sept 29, 1846

Groom: Bartolomeo Cannistra`, age 21. born in Lipari, son of Mario Cannistra` (goatherd) and Francesca Caravella, spinner
Bride: Giuseppa Riitano, age 17, daughter of deceased Giovanni Riitano, and living Giuseppa Costa, property owner.

Right column-Marriage took place in the parish of this cathedral on Oct 16th.
