I believe this is the first name in the record, although it looks like it is spelled Erminagildo to me

This is a new one for me too. I just searched the first few letters I saw, and the words "Italian male first names" and that's what I got.

Ermenegildo is correct, even though in this record it seems to be spelled "Erminagildo".
