Domenico Brancato - Death Record - Translating Help

Post by Mezzo8 »

Hello!

I have a death record for a very early family member: Domenico Brancato, who died in 1875.

Most death records were filled out in forms during the 1800s, but this death record looks like a long form, written out version.

I wanted to check if Domenico Brancato died fro something specific. Can some one translate this and let me know if what the cause of death may be?

Also, whether it is written out or in a printed form, feel free to leave feedback to know where I can find cause of death on Italian records if they are present.

(Note: There are two attachments: Part 1 is where the entry starts on the lower right, Part 2 the entry ends in the upper left.)

Thanks!

Domenico died on Oct 22, 1875 in Corleone at the age of 60. He had been born in Mezzojuso and was a resident there. He was the son of deceased Baldassare Brancato and dec Maria Bocenti. He was the husband of Antonia Bonomo.

As to the cause of death, it is very rare to find one in a civil record. There is none given in this record.
