Surname Manico, Manaco, Monico, Monica, Monice

Post by cfontenot83 »

Hello, I am looking for the birth records of my great grandfather. His name here in the U.S. has a few different spellings from the censuses that I have found. His name was Louis (Lavis) Manico b. abt. 1886. Immigrated to America aprox. 1907. Married Lillian Heaton in New York. I can't find any birth certificate or any information on him at all..I have spent so much money trying to find him and I am stuck. Can anyone help?????

This is the ship manifest for a man who MIGHT be the one of the Registration Card.
Unfortunately, birth registers of Crotone for year 1882 don't seem to be online.
