Hi everyone-
Sad news today as I got a "no records" reply from the Italian authorities for a birth-records search for my GGF, Pasquale Giordano. My GGM listed his hometown as Sava, Italy, but apparently she didn't know where her husband was born! There are other inaccuracies in her children's birth dates too. So, I'm learning, trust nothing completely unless the government has stamped it (even then...).
So, any suggestions in finding an accurate birth place for him? I have a USCIS index search out, and his death cert. has been requested from NYC Municipal Archives.
