Genealogy Research - Ricerca Anagrafica

Post by Astnpwrs »

Hello,

I'm doing some research on a Gregorio Bontempo/Buontempo born in Nicosia Mary 24, 1881. He was adopted by a Vito and Francesca Rinaldi. What I've been able to find so far is the follow entry however I'm having a hard time reading it:

http://antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/ ... 3.jpg.html

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi, just some basic data:
the Birth record is abt Vincenzo Giovanni Maria PANTALEONE foundling, name given from the civil records officer, born in Nicosia on 23 May 1881, to hour 4:00 PM, at home in S. Maria di G.. (unreadable) Street, from a woman who does not consent to be nominated.
The informant was the midwife, Maria Franchi 65 old, and the children was sent to orphanage in Nicosia by the same informant, and also with the other things that the infant had: a little shirt, a diaper, a blanket, a headband, a vest, and two headset, all unused.

Here is the marriage record (#8), on 18 February 1904, in Gagliano Castelferrato.
Both bride and groom were foundlings.

I double checked and the note say 1903, although it was added April 19 1904

Oh yes, the note did state 1903  You were correct!
I looked there first, but then noticed, as you say, the note was dated 1904!
So... I searched there.
