Concetta Cocchiola

Hi,

I looking for information on my great grandmother Concetta Cocchiola. Cocchiola was her maiden and married name. She was born 1/14/1884. I think she was born in Torella di Lombardi (sp?). I'm looking for names (and dates of birth) of her siblings. Her obit has her father as Gennaro Cocchiola and her mother as Anna Marie DiGiovanni. There seems to be very little information on her, or I'm looking in the wrong place.

You have the right town but her mother's surname is spelled Di Gianni and you have the wrong date of birth for her. She was born on Sept 15, 1884.

The record is dated July 6, 1880 but she was born on July 4, 1880 at 3:30 a.m. in the house house on via Santamaria to Maria di Gianni, peasant wife, of Gennaro Cocchiola, peasant. The reporting of the birth, and presentation of the infant, was made by the midwife, as the father was residing in the province of Capitanata (Foggia).

Birth of son Antonio Cocchiola on June 7, 1870 in the house on Strada Santa Maria. Gennaro Cocchiola, the father, was the 28 year old son of Angelantonio Cocchiola, and was a farmer. His wife, Anna Maria di Gianni, was the daughter of Antonio (di Gianni) and was living with her husband.
