appeared Francesco Zambrotta [son of deceased Pietro], age 63, farmer born and residing in Sanza, to present to the official a male child who he declared was born yesterday, the 11th of the month, at 8 PM at his home at Vico Chenaro, to his wife Teresa Confuorto [daughter of deceased Francesco], and to this child was given the name GIOVANNI.
This declaration was made in the presence of Francesco Cozzi [son of deceased Domenico] age 36; and Vincenzo Balbi [son of Nicola], age 38 both landowners and residents of Sanza.

The year is definitely 1872 and not 1882. It is clearly written in other records in this section, and you only have to go back a few pages to get a cover sheet with the year on it.
