Re: Need Marriage certificate translated
Thank you for offering to translate. I can't for the life of me get my jpeg document to load in the message.
I pulled the information from Familysearch.org the link is :
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2043548
It is a really bad copy but that is all I can access. I am only interested in the date and name of the parents of Russo and Puleo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much...this is not the right one after all...back to searching
I am looking for a Antonina Puleo bride and Joseph Ignatius Russo groom somewhere around 1893 in Sciacca.

OMG.....this is amazing! I can't thank you enough for your help! My husband's father thought he had no relatives until I started this research. They came to New Orleans in 1894 and had 8 additional children.
The bride's mother was shown on a census in the U.S. as Cecelia Benoite as being Antonina Puleo's mother.
Again thanks so much!

Re: Need Marriage certificate translated
AMAZING....With this information I now reached another wall but very happy to have gotten this translated. One confirmation of information always leads to another question. The help on this is amazing! I must lay off the family tree for a while. It can become an obsession for sure!
ON the Groom side:
It appears Maria Giaimo immigrated to the US in 1891 on the Italia with her daughter also named Antonina who married in New Orleans an Angelo St. Angelo.
It appears Ignazio immigrated to the US in 1894 on the California with his wife Antonina and son Michele.
Now I just will have to figure out if Maria Giamo and Michele Russo had any other children other than Ignazio and Antonina. That may be my next challenge.
Again THANK YOU!
