Birth Record Translation for Rocco LaCapra

Hi Everyone,

I could really use someone’s help translating the following document in as much detail as possible. I believe this to be my great-grandfather’s birth record from 1888. I pulled this from the Potenza, Basilicata, Italy, Civil Registration Records, 1861-1938.

I also cleaned up the images the best I could and have provided two separate versions of the document that I think could help with translating.

Dated 14 November 1888 at 9:05 at the town office. Before the official Achille Milano, functioning as the mayor.. official of the civil records in Puglia in Basilicata,
Appeared Nicola LaCapra, age 38, farmer residing in this town, to declare that at 10:20 AM, yesterday (13th) of the current month, at the house in Strada Casale #6, to Antonia Mocciola(?), his wife, farmer, residing with him, was born a male child who was presented to the official and given the name ROCCO.
To this above act (the recording of the birth) were present as witnesses Rocco Avigliano, 38, farmer; and Armidio Filippo, 30, farmer, both residents of this town.
The official read the act to all the participants, and only the official signed as the others were illiterate.
