Appeared Signor Giuseppe Grottola [son of Pasquale] age 28, laborer residing in this town, Pietro Priore [of deceased Felice] age 65, and Domenico Potenza [of Francesco] age 43, both farmers residing in this town (acting as witnesses to the record)
and [Giuseppe Grottola] declared that a male child was born in Vietri di Potenza on 14 June of the current year at 4 AM at his home in Piazza del Popolo, to Maria Bonomo [ daughter of Giovanni] age 28, his legitimate wife, residing with him; and the child was given the name ANTONIO GROTTOLA
Note: In the margin - Maria's surname is spelled with a "u" - Buonomo; and in the record it is spelled without the "u" - Bonomo.
