Death of Cattarina Ferrero

Dated July 19, 1881 at 8:05 a.m. in the town hall of Pont Canavese

Appearing at the town hall were Michele Tirone, age 44, son of deceased Giacomo (Tirone), and Giovanni Chiabotti, age 50, son of deceased Andrea (Chiabotti), a shoemaker. Both reported that at 5:20 P,M. yesterday, in the house on via Caviglione, without a number, Cattarina Ferrero, age 44, a spinner, resident in Pont Canavese but born in Borgiallio, had died. She was the daughter of deceased Giorgio Ferrero and deceased Veronica Burga, who had been residents in Borgiallo, when they were alive. She was married to Giacomo Tirone, the son of deceased Giacomo (Tirone). Witnesses to the formulation and reading of the death act were : Giacinto Rusica, age 35, and Giovanni Merlo of deceased Martino (Merlo), age 68, residents in this town. The act was read aloud to those who had intervened and signed by all, with the exception of the declarant, Michele Tirone, as he was illiterate.

Hi Tricia,

You're very welcome and Happy 4th to you too.

BTW, the town name is spelled Borgiallo. I have it spelled correctly in reference to her parents, but erroneously typed an extra i in it, when I said it was where she was born. Just noticed my typo.
