Whose the mother? Need help translating please

Post by isaballe »

I run across this from time to time. I think the two right hand side notes are relating to marriages but not certain. How do I know who the mother of the child is? Thank you, Amy

The first notation is a marriage on 31 July 1919 to Maria Scolara(?)

The second is a recognition of the child [Francesco] as the legitimate son of Eugenio Molica Nardo and Maria Napoli, with their marriage on 26 May 1900.
