Translation help please!

Post by Nayamac »

Hello. I'm new to this site. It has some very helpful information. I'm experienced on ancestry.com but it only goes so far. I'm trying to build my Cardillo tree. I'm a beginner at Italian records. Just learning how to find them. I'm only back to my great great Grandfather. The family came from Cannitello, Reggio Calabria to New York. His name is Francesco Cardillo, wife Giovanna Bellentone. Children born there are Letterio, my great grandfather, and Dominica, his sister. I'm sure this is her birth record. Also think maybe this is Francesco' s birth record? Struggling here! Any help or advice is appreciated.

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much! This is wonderful! So very helpful to me. I've been trying to translate one word at a time and learn how to search these records. The written part is what I struggle with the most. You are fantastic!
