Dated Oct 12, 1884 at 9:35 a.m. The birth took place on the 12th at 2:30 a.m. at #18 Zianigo di Mirano

Father: Crescenzio Perale, age 26, mason/bricklayer. Mother: Maria Franzato, his wife, who was living with him

Witnesses: Domenico Perale, age 27, mason/bricklayer and Federico Boato, age 46, agent/broker (sensuale)

The infant was sickly, so the presentation of the infant was dispensed with. The midwife, Barioli, attested to the truth of the birth

Here's the marriage record-his surname is Pegoraro

Feb 3, 1907

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2043809

Antonio Luigi was 24, never before married, born in Zianigo of Mirano, resident in Zianigo, of Giacomo (Pegoraro) and Giovanna Gallo. He was a commesso stradale (I know what the words translate to, but really don't know what his occupation involved). She was 22, housewife, never before married, of Crescenzio (Perale) and Maria Franzato. All of the parents were residents in Zianigo. The marriage publications were on Nov 4th and 11th, both Sundays.

Thanks for catching that typo, mmogno. BTW, do you know what a "commesso stradale" did? Not looking for the English translations of the words-I know what they are-but they don't tell me what his job or occupation actually was.

I believe that a "commesso stradale" = "stradino" is a worker who cares about the maintenance of the roads

Thanks, mmogno. I was thinking the same thing as you, but couldn't find anything on the internet to confirm that this is what the occupation involved.

Hi Erudita

Thank you for translating Birth Act for Perale, Anelda Palmira and for the marriage record. There are a lot of Perales in Mirano. I cannot tie them in to the other Perales but when I record all the births, I may figure it out.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Erudita,

Thank You. I do enjoy working on genealogy and finding records. My husband just shakes his head when I find another Perale ancestor.

You and I seem to be alike, Tricia, but your husband sounds like mine. Just keep enjoying the research you're doing.
