Hello, All-
Can someone give me a definitive answer as to the surname of the mother of the decedent here?
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=1887904
Record No. 3, on the 17 of Jan. 1869, comune of Saponara Villafranca "circondario", Province of Messina, appeared Giuseppe Aversa, of deceased Filippo, age 65, and Nicolo Cordaro, of deceased Antonino, age 42, declared on the 16th of the above month in this town, in Contrada Maiorani (?) died Lorenza Gangemi, age 35, living here, wife of Vincenzo Sturniolo, daughter of Baldassare and of Rosa Bisogna (???), peasant/worker, living as above.
I have seen this "B" surname only a small handful of times - appears to be very uncommon.
Thanks.
Mark
