Angela Francesca Galino(?) is the baptized infant. (her father was Alfonso Galino). The name you have underlined is that of the midwife, who appears to have also been the godmother. Her name looks like Catana Mari. Charmela (Carmela?) Romano is the infant's mother.

Yes, John, the surname could be Tolino. The initial letter was hard to decipher.

Erudita,

I found Angela Francesca Tolino's birth record, dated 7 Dec 1865, father Alfonso Tolino, mother Carmela Romano, both living in Preturo. Angela Francesca was baptized on the 7th of Dec 1865 per the birth record; however, the baptism record I posted has the date of baptism of 4 Dec 1865. Errors in the records or a mistake in my translatiion?

At the top of the birth record: Angela Francesca Tolino married Antonio DeSanctis on the 2nd of Dec 1886.

The church record you posted, although dated the 4th, says she was born on "die quinta"-the fifth day at 20 hours or 8 P.M. Not really a mistake on your part. The discrepancy is in the records. I'm not sure you have deciphered the marriage date correctly from what is written across the top of the birth record. Can you find the record to confirm that month and day? I'm on my way out and can't help you further with this now.

Erudita,

I found the marriage record for Antonio DeSanctis and Angela Francesca Tolino; they were married on the 2nd of December 1886. It is the record on the right side, numero: 42.

I'm glad you were able to locate the marriage record and confirm the date. Yes, Dec 2, 1886 is correct.
