Can someone help with a translation of all info on Maddalena Catuosco.
Is it listing a first husband? Is father dead? What documents are they asking for on the bottom? Anything about her would be great.
thank you

Re: info of document
Are these records on line? We prefer you to link us to the image on the website. They are easier to work with. This record isn't so clear when zooming in and I don't have time to look for the record.EllenCatusco wrote: 28 Sep 2018, 17:08 Can someone help with a translation of all info on Maddalena Catuosco.

Anyway, quickly, just re Maddalena, she was 45 yo, peasant farmer, residing in Marsico, daughter of the deceased Augustale, who had been a contadino, who had lived in Marsico when living, and the daughter of Raffaela Laino, a contadina, who lived in Marscio. She was the widow of Giuseppe Cirone who died 3 October ....... sorry it's not clear – maybe 1888.
Edit to Add: At the bottom of the record it is just making reference to the Death Records of the previous spouses of the groom and bride (bother were widowed) which would have been part of the allegati as were the birth records of the groom and bride.

Here is the link to the death act of Francesca Fittipaldi, deceased wife of Gianuario Grosso

Re: info of document
Thank you Angela and Tessa.
Also I have found when putting things up from Ancestry.com some people with out subscription can not see document. That is why I put copy up instead. Usually free sites I put link. Sorry I do know quality can be poor sometimes.
Thank you again info is very helpful if not bewildering.

Re: info of document
Happy to help, Ellen.
I've had another look at the record that you have posted here and I am reading that Giuseppe Cirone died 3 October 1886 in what looks like Tucuman (Argentina).
Here is the marriage record, in case you don't have it:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cat=779829
They were married 21 January 1892.

Re: info of document
Here is the death act for Giusepe Cirone, which was transcribed from the Spanish and entered into the book of deaths in Marsico (#3, Parte suppl) in 1890.
Bottom right and the following pages...

Re: info of document
Thank you, this is odd..
1. Why didn't she go?
2. In the 1895 Argentina Census is a Rosaria Catuosco. Born in Italy, and I think is Maddalena's sister.
3. So why is her husband there with her sister..hahaha?
4. States on her wedding that her father Augustale is dead, I don't not believe that to be correct.
Oh the mysteries.
