Section 51 of the attached document refers to some event related to Raffaele Langone.
I would appreciate it if anyone can assist in identifying the type of document it is and possibly some key information it may contain.
I am thinking it may be a birth record. For reference the known birth date we have for Raffaele Langone is 1/18/1868.
Just looking to confirm what it is and any relative time period to see if it is related to the Raffaele Langone that we are researching for our family.
Thanks!

Re: Translation Assistance Please
It is a birth act - dated 28 January 1868
Appearing before the official was Mariantonia Grottola, daughter of deceased Michele, age 50, a midwife born and residing in the town, who assisted in the birth and who declared that yesterday, the 27th of the month, about 3 PM was born to Mariantonia Aliano, a farmer, daughter of Raffaele, wife of Vito Langone [son of Stefano], a 30yo farmer residing in this town, in the house they inhabit in Via Tempa della Chiesa, a male child who was presented [by the midwife] and whose parents intend be given the namd RAFFAELE FEDERICO LANGONE.
The father was not able to make the presentation because he was absent from the town.
~Then a notation was made about the error in Mariantonia's father's given name... the Federico with the box around it is in error.

Tessa78,
Wow that is very specific information, and confirms that it is very likely the Raffaele we are researching, since the date and location match those on the other records that we have here in the US.
I can't thank you enough for your help with this!

Not sure you have this, but it is Raffaele's older sister. 12 May 1865. It really doesn't yield any new info. I am looking for Vito's birth, Raffaele's father, That will probably give you his parents. If I see anything else I'll let you know.

Here is the marriage of Vito Langone and Mariantonia Aliano in Marsico Nuovo in 1859.
Vito was the 23yo son of Stefano Langone and of Rachele Mantella(?)
Mariantonia was the 15yo daughter of Raffaele Aliano and of deceased Maria Rosa Tardugno.

Ellen and Tessa,
Wow! These are such amazing documents!
We are so thankful to you for helping us with our search, and deeply appreciate your kindness and expertise!
We've been able to find a few more documents going through birth records on Ancestry WE, but really need to dig in to Antenati now that we are getting the hang of it.
Thanks again!

Your very welcome..I'm doing my own family research in Paterno, so if I come across anything for you I will pass on. Once you start searching in Antenati I'm sure you will find many records. Some are indexed and some are not. Always check last page first for indexes. If nothing there than its image by image search. But don't give up, and there is always help here. I could not have gotten this far without the help of this great community.

Re: Translation Assistance Please
Also I think Rachele Mantellas name is Maulella. It seems to be the name I see most often in Paterno records, that spelling anyway.
Re: Translation Assistance Please
Ok thanks for the update!
On a side note, in Antenati we found an index listing a marriage record for Stefano Langone - Marsico Nuovo › Matrimoni › 1834.
Should the index # correspond to the number in the upper right of the book pages? His name does not appear in 46 and can't seem to find it anywhere else in the book.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is the one you found..but from what I see this is not Rachele (his wife) also church record on side is not filled out. Put this record to the side, but I would keep looking. This may have been a first marriage. Also it goes to the next image, image 87 and 88. This one is date 8 Sept 1834.
