Birth Act Emmanuele Di (De) Bello

Post by researching »

Hey guys,

I'm looking for the birth act of Emmanuele Di (de) Bello, son of Giuseppe. I think I may have found it, but it's SO HARD to read, so I'm not even sure.

I think this is the act:

http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... d=38810777

Here is the link to the index, but I can't really make out the number OR the name. I think it's number 452

I know that some of you have super eyes, so I'm looking forward to finding out what this act says.

Thanks so much
Julie

Can you give the town name? It's almost illegible in the document and I can't tell from the link address. I'd like to check a few nearby documents. Helps to decipher how the writer makes certain letters.

Sure, it's Trani, in Bari, 1858. I have been combing through the years around that time and they're all horrible.

Thanks so much

The date of record is June 19th but birth on the 17th. Baptism on the 20th. Mother's surname looks like Altobello. She was age 28. Father age 31. Infant's name: Emmanuele Nicola Donato. The declaration of the birth, and presentation of the infant, made by Rosa Carbonara, age 58. She was of deceased Francesco Paolo (Carbonara). Mother's first name possibly Irena.

OMG if you were here I'd jump on you and hug you. I'm so happy...both because you got it AND because the only thing I didn't get was woodworker.

I think I found a sibling, Lucia. I'm going to see if I can decipher this one as well. :D

The handwriting is difficult. I notice that Erudita reads the birth date as June 17. On re-reading, I agree.

I agree, I'm not even sure the person who wrote it thought that other's would read it, or he just didn't care.
